‘Sexual Assault Allegation’ Fully Denied by Air Force Colonel… Male DNA Found in Victim’s Underwear

An Air Force colonel is under investigation for allegedly attempting to sexually assault a junior officer, with the case gaining traction after male DNA was discovered on the victim’s underwear. According to police on December 5th, Colonel A, the former head of the 17th Fighter Wing, is under investigation on charges of attempted sexual assault after reportedly trying to rape Officer B, a female officer, in his official residence following a unit dinner outing on October 24th.

Colonel A is also accused of inappropriately touching B’s body in a photo booth before arriving at the residence. During his police questioning last month, Colonel A completely denied the attempted rape charges, explaining that the contact in the photo booth was incidental as they struck poses together.

Despite Colonel A’s denials, police have pursued the charges based on consistent accounts provided by Officer B, who shared her experience with colleagues immediately after the incident. However, there is no CCTV footage from the residence, and photos taken by B as evidence do not clearly depict the situation.

The investigation took a new turn when DNA evidence was found in B’s underwear that could help uncover the truth of the incident. The National Forensic Service reported finding unknown male DNA in B’s underwear. Police plan to request an arrest warrant for Colonel A if the DNA matches his. A police representative stated that a DNA comparison will soon be conducted by the National Forensic Service, but further details cannot be disclosed due to the ongoing investigation.
