North Korea-Russia Trade and Economic/Scientific and Technological Meeting… Russian Delegation Visits North Korea

A Russian government delegation has arrived in Pyongyang to attend the 11th meeting of the North Korea-Russia Trade, Economic, and Science and Technology Cooperation Committee, according to a report by the Korean Central News Agency. The delegation is led by Alexander Kozlov, the Minister of Natural Resources, and was welcomed at the airport by Yoon Jeong-ho, the North Korean Chairman of the Committee, and Alexander Matsegora, the Russian Ambassador to North Korea. Since last year’s North Korea-Russia summit, high-level exchanges between the two countries have increased, becoming more frequent following the treaty signed in June this year.
