In a recent episode of JTBC’s “Divorce Counseling Camp,” a husband was shown disparaging his wife in front of a female acquaintance. This episode, which aired on the evening of the 7th, featured stories from the fifth group of couples participating in the show.
The husband, who previously worked at a company called ‘WXF’ that recently faced a significant incident, has been dealing with issues related to unpaid wages. He expressed his anxiety about potentially having to rely on savings because the company, which accounts for 60% of his household income, is not stabilizing. His wife, known for her lack of financial awareness, nonchalantly responded, “I don’t really think about it much. I just do as I’m told.”
The couple also faced a rental scam around the time their baby was about to be born. The husband felt frustrated as he struggled to cope alone, with his wife showing no intent to help resolve the situation. He confided, “I’ve felt this way for a long time. It’s the feeling of being ‘lonely.'”
A subsequent video clip revealed the husband continuously nagging his wife while she was cooking. Actress Park Ha-sun commented, “I never nag. My husband’s cooking skills improved because I endured the strange taste at first. You have to say, ‘Oh, you’re doing well, but it’s a bit salty,’ otherwise they’ll want to quit.”
The husband also met up with a female friend he had known from a previous job. He complained about his wife to this friend, saying, “Once you’ve said something, you have to take responsibility for it. She doesn’t think before I tell her. Do I have to teach her this? It’s a total mess,” degrading his wife in front of the acquaintance. He explained that he sought advice from his friend because she had studied psychology.
Unimpressed by this behavior, Seo Jang-hoon expressed his anger, stating, “Talking badly about your wife in front of another woman is disgraceful.” Park Ha-sun agreed, finding his language excessively harsh, and expressed their shared indignation.
