(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Kang Tae-woo = LS Electric announced on the 6th that it will participate in the ‘BIXPO 2024′ (Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo) held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju and unveil a large number of next-generation power solutions.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, LS Electric has prepared an exhibition space with the main concept of ’50 Years Journey of Power Energy Technology Innovation.’
The exhibition will focus on three themes: superconducting solutions, next-generation direct current (DC) distribution, and all-in-one energy storage systems (ESS), showcasing future eco-friendly power total solutions.
LS Electric has prominently featured the ‘superconducting fault current limiter’ undergoing verification for commercialization at the Seogochang substation since last year.
The superconducting fault current limiter is a core solution for operating superconducting power grids, designed to minimize damage to power facilities caused by fault currents.
In addition to domestic market commercialization, the company plans to enter overseas superconducting markets in Europe, Vietnam, Ireland, and other countries.
An LS Electric representative stated, “We have unveiled a large number of next-generation smart power solutions that consolidate 50 years of technological innovation,” and added, “We will firmly establish LS Electric’s brand image as a leader in the global power infrastructure market.”
