Starbucks begins its winter promotion with Toffee Nut Latte.

Starbucks Korea Collaborates with ‘Old Ferry Donuts’ to Launch Two New Donut Varieties

[Edaily Reporter Oh Hee-na] On the 1st, Starbucks Korea announced the start of the Christmas season by introducing a variety of winter-themed products, including five types of beverages and six types of food.

The iconic winter season drink from Starbucks, the ‘Toffee Nut Latte,’ is being featured once again. This coffee drink combines rich espresso with the sweet flavor of toffee nut syrup, topped with toffee crunch for an extra nutty flavor. Since tracking began in 2009, over 35 million cups have been sold since its initial release in 2002. The ‘Double Espresso Cream Latte,’ which was popular last winter with over 3.2 million cups sold, has also returned.

Additionally, Starbucks is introducing the ‘Non-Alcoholic Holiday Passion Tea Vin Chaud,’ capturing the essence of Christmas. This non-alcoholic tea beverage features a deep red wine base with fresh orange slices for a refreshing hint, complemented by a herbal and spice bag that enhances the signature vin chaud flavor.

Other offerings include the ‘Golden Chamomile Relaxer’ and ‘Starbucks Strawberry Latte,’ suitable for everyone.

In celebration of the winter beverage launch, from November 1st to November 7th, Starbucks is running a special event where customers who order the Toffee Nut Latte, Double Espresso Cream Latte, Non-Alcoholic Holiday Passion Tea Vin Chaud, or Golden Chamomile Relaxer through the Siren Order using a Starbucks Card will receive three additional stars per item.

Additionally, Starbucks is conducting a winter e-Frequency event where customers who collect e-stickers by purchasing a total of 17 handcrafted beverages, including three of the mission drinks such as the Toffee Nut Latte or the Strawberry Latte, will receive exclusive gifts. The winter e-Frequency gifts include eight items in total, such as three types of Moleskine Planners (green/pink/brown), four types of portable lamps in collaboration with the design lighting brand Bonakia (green/white), and one calendar in collaboration with artist Lee Hee-jo of Print Bakery. For the first time, digital planners, ‘Good Notes,’ will be provided via the Starbucks app to customers receiving the planners.

Starbucks continues to offer ‘Tasty Journey’ products featuring brand collaboration foods this month. The new offerings include two types of donuts made in collaboration with the donut brand ‘Old Ferry Donuts.’ The ‘OFD Double Berry Cream Donut’ is filled with strawberry cream and raspberry jam for a tangy taste, while the ‘OFD Pistachio Cream Donut’ is filled with pistachio cream and cookie crumble for a rich flavor.

Starbucks is also launching other food items, including a ‘Tree Red Velvet Cheese Cake’ decorated with tree-shaped green cream cheese, a ‘Santa Bearrista Cake’ filled with raspberry jam and mascarpone cheese cream, a ‘Sweet Potato Castella Cream Cake’ with a soft texture and sweet, nutty flavor, and a ‘Philly Cheese Brioche Sandwich’ with roasted beef, onions, cheddar cheese sauce, and jalapenos for a savory taste.

Additionally, holiday merchandise that families, friends, and even pets can enjoy together is being introduced. The ‘Holiday Friends Plate Cutlery Set’ includes a plate, spoon, and fork, making it an excellent gift. The ‘Holiday Friends Bearrista Keychain,’ featuring a bearrista dressed in a snowman outfit, can be a charming accessory for bags or car keys. The detachable ‘Holiday Friends Mini Bag’ for pet harnesses is convenient for carrying waste bags.

Shin Dong-woo, the head of the strategy planning division at Starbucks, said, “We have prepared this season with various promotions and products for customers to enjoy the winter atmosphere through Starbucks’ signature customer appreciation event, the winter e-Frequency event. We hope you create memory-filled year-end moments with Starbucks.”
