Four Seasons Garden Transforms into ‘Autumn Festa Garden’
Purple Aster Field, Sorghum, and more at Farm Land
Special Garden Presented with German Jelly Brand ‘Haribo’
[Herald Economy = Kim Minji Reporter] With the full bloom of autumn weather, Everland, operated by Samsung C&T’s resort division, announced on the 21st that its signature garden, Four Seasons Garden, has been transformed into the themed garden ‘Autumn Festa Garden.’.
Featuring tens of thousands of trees of various species like maple, ginkgo, and zelkova, and a variety of flowers such as marigolds, cosmos, and sunflowers, the garden is celebrated as the top foliage spot in the metropolitan area. You can immerse yourself in the autumn ambiance with fields adorned with about 150,000 purple aster flowers and the golden farmland planted with grains like sorghum, millet, and rice.
Alongside autumn plants, there are photo zones decorated with cute characters, special performances, and various other enjoyable activities. Photo spots designed with themes that match well with autumn, such as reading, harvest, and tea parties, are set up everywhere featuring Everland characters Leshy and Friends. The ‘Happy Thanksgiving Party’ show, which tells the story of fairies celebrating the abundance of autumn, is performed twice daily. Through a QR code, you can participate in the ‘Plant Knowledge Quiz with D-Lab’ via mobile.
In particular, the newly added ‘Haribo Theme Garden,’ created in collaboration with Haribo, the famous German jelly brand, has been added to the Autumn Festa Garden. Visitors can find jelly bear sculptures shaped like Haribo’s iconic Goldbears throughout the garden, along with jelly decorations on benches and gift boxes, making for diverse photo spots.
Throughout October, on weekends, the walking character Goldbear appears three times a day to take photos with visitors and offer mini jellies in on-site events. A large jelly cake signature photo zone has been introduced at the Windmill Stage. Visitors can also find popcorn with jelly and special goods from Haribo, and download Haribo fonts for free from the Everland website.
The autumn foliage courses around Everland and its vicinity are not to be missed for a seasonal atmosphere. Famous for its scenic paths, Everland’s ‘Sky Garden Trail’ is a 1km healing walk course offering panoramic views of Everland’s autumn landscape along the foliage paths. Over 10,000 trees, including plum and spindle trees, along with autumn flowers beautifully color the landscape, with the early foliage of kochia reaching its peak.
You can also enjoy a leisurely autumn foliage drive, appreciating the autumn breeze and vibrant colors. The approximately 5km foliage drive course from Everland’s main entrance to Masung Tollgate on the Yeongdong Expressway allows you to view varied and vibrant fall colors from different angles due to the road’s characteristic winding through the hills. The Hoam Lake nearby Everland also presents a spectacular view as the lake reflects the picturesque fall foliage surrounding its mountains.
