Comedian Kim Jong-seok, known as the “Ddadak’s Dad,” has left viewers puzzled due to MBN’s contradictory broadcasts. On the September episode of MBN’s “Special World,” he revealed struggles with debts amounting to 10 billion won, claiming his family had to disperse, and he lived in a semi-basement rental, sometimes staying at motels.
However, during an October episode of “Human Documentary If I Live,” Kim presented a different narrative stating he owned three large cafes and his real estate assets were worth 30 billion won, despite having a debt of 10 billion won. He addressed the audience, aiming to clear misunderstandings and affirming his successful business status.
This conflicting portrayal prompted reactions, with fellow comedians appearing to support his claimed financial stability. The disparate stories across two programs left audiences confused about Kim Jong-seok’s true financial status.
