Com2uS Holdings will participate in the ‘Steam Next Fest’ with the new PC and console platform game ‘Guides Zero,’ announced on the 14th.
The Steam Next Fest, which will be held for a week from the 14th to the 21st of this month, is a preview event where you can play upcoming titles in advance. It is an event where developers introduce their upcoming works and communicate with gamers, drawing high attention from global users. Games that have received favorable reviews at recent Steam Next Fests are gaining recognition as gateways to success upon release.
Guides Zero, scheduled for early access release in the fourth quarter, will allow players to experience a total of three chapters of the demo version in this Steam Next Fest. Described as a dungeon exploration roguelite role-playing game (RPG), it features charming 2D pixel art characters that catch the eye.
The real-time combat that unfolds by moving in all directions on a grid-like field is a differentiating factor from other roguelite games. Players can determine their character’s style through active skill selection and can level up, bind spirits, and grow artifacts. The game’s feature lies in experiencing different growth and gameplay each time through various combinations.
Com2uS Holdings plans to release ‘Guides Zero’ as the starting point, followed by the action RPG ‘Fatal Crow (tentative title)’ in the Metroidvania genre for PC and console games in the first half of next year.
