49-year-old man arrested for carrying a loaded gun near Trump California rally.

Former U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is holding a campaign rally in Coachella, California where a man illegally carrying a rifle and loaded handgun was arrested. According to AFP on the 13th (local time), security personnel at the event in Riverside County arrested the man who was found to be carrying a loaded gun and high-capacity magazine. The Secret Service has confirmed the arrest and stated that both Trump and the rally attendees were safe. The man, identified as 49-year-old Ben Miller from Las Vegas, was released on bail and is set to appear in court on January 2nd. This incident follows an earlier incident where Trump was shot at in Pennsylvania and narrowly escaped an assassination attempt at a golf course in Florida, according to AFP.
