“(Ulsan=News1) Reporter Jo Min-ju = Ulsan City announced on the 19th that free flu vaccinations will be provided at 768 commissioned medical institutions in the city from the 20th to April 30 next year.
The total number of recipients is 309,513, including children aged 6 months to 13 years, pregnant women, and people aged 65 and older.
Children under 9 years old receiving their first flu vaccine (2 doses) will start receiving the vaccine from the 20th. After the first dose, they should receive the second dose 4 weeks later.
Children and pregnant women eligible for one dose vaccination can receive it starting from October 2nd.
Those aged 75 and above can receive the free vaccination from October 11th, 70 and above from October 15th, and 65 and above from October 18th.
Recipients can check the schedule and designated medical institutions on the Vaccination Helper Nurijip website. Recipients should bring their ID, pregnancy record book, etc., and for more details, they can inquire at the city and district health centers.
A Ulsan city official said, “For children, pregnant women, and seniors who are at high risk of severe flu infection, we urge active participation in vaccination.”
