On Thursday, tomorrow (the 29th), there will be occasional clouds nationwide, with Jeju Island, Gangwon Yeongdong, and Gyeongsang regions expecting cloudy skies and rain.

Due to the influence of the easterly winds, there could be occasional rain in Jeju Island until noon and in Gangwon Yeongdong and the Gyeongsang regions until the 30th at noon.

Especially in some areas where heavy rain of around 20mm per hour accompanied by strong winds, thunder, and lightning may occur, it is important to be cautious of facility management, safety accidents, and traffic safety.

The expected rainfall from the 28th to the 30th is 10-60mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, 20-80mm in Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang coast, East Gyeongsang coast, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, 5-60mm in Daegu, inland southern Gyeongsang, inland southern Gyeongsang, and Jeju Island (over 80mm in many places).

Except for some areas in Gangwon Yeongdong and western Yeongseo, and northern parts of North Gyeongsang, a heatwave advisory will be in effect in most areas of the country, with the highest feels-like temperature rising to 33-35 degrees Celsius, making it very hot. There may be places with tropical nights, especially on the South Sea coast and Jeju Island.

The level of fine dust is expected to show a ‘good’ level nationwide due to the smooth atmospheric diffusion.
